Class: Senior

Height/Weight: 6'2", 230 lbs.

2015 stats: 24 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss

Why he's #27 on the list: Because he's going to be needed to play a key role in the linebacker corps, possibly at more than one position. George was brought in as a JUCO transfer to start last year, and that didn't work out. Right now, he's listed as the backup at middle linebacker, a position he played during the Music City Bowl and during the spring. He could, however, also be needed at outside linebacker, where the Aggies look thinner than in the middle.

What to expect in 2016: George will play a significant amount, regardless of position. His 11 games played and three starts actually makes him one of the team's more experienced linebackers, and they'll need his size and speed whether he's in the middle or on the outside.
